Best place in the world

I guess people who browse by here once in a while already know – I’m a lazy Blogger. But in this case I had to share my feelings with you internet folks. I’ve just been to the best place in the world, well I’m actually still in. Endless free flow of Haagen Dazs ice cream, sausages and a live pop-corn machine. The Emirates Children Food Court in Dubai. The only thing you need is to have a dad (or mum) holding a business class ticket to enter the lounge (Or be a sneakty freakquent traveler). In both ways you will end up with belly pains. But in my case I don’t have to ask my parents presmission to go to the “adult-bar” to get some medicine on the rocks.

Saure Gurken in Berlin

The 60 days of my L Tourist Visa are expired, time to go back to Berlin. (Yeah) Last time here in December I was just incredibly jet-lagged and that beer-punch in my face didn’t help too much either. I still suffer from that accident cause my insurance never paid me back the hospital costs. “Find the girl, they said and get the money from her.” But this time everything will be better. I will follow the safety rules at parties in order to enjoy my stay. Like last night. I went to Berlin’s Actor Go Kart Racing Cup. Schowi, Mr. Hip Hop Don’t Stop “Jumpy” and me got picked up at 5pm – but some how the party-race didn’t start until 11pm so I made friends at the buffet with plenty famous German actors, getting more drunk and awake with every sip of red bull vodka. Friday Night I’m playing here at Rodeo so more silliness to come.

Blood & Guts

I guess I would not blog if it wouldn’t be for Kid Fresh, Thanx Freddy… And it took me a while to pick up the “pen” and write some silliness down. Well but tonight I have nothing else to to. My face is in pain, blood is (still) dripping out of my nose and I feel I’m turning 78 tomorrow. I just got out of Kick Boxing class; payed something like 12 Euros to get punched – Not sure but everyone else around me seemed to enjoyed it, weather they punched or got punched. Why the hell I’m doing that, I don’t know. I guess 2010 is the big year. I’m turning 30. My friends start to date way younger girls to compensate… I decided to get in shape myself. (And it might be easier after all to get any attention from those young girls)

Still I feel horrible, eating no pasta, only one coffee a day and life sucks. Big Time. Ach, at least there is the Internet

The East opens up…  Passion was unfortunately not with me in Moscow but we had a great time buying underwear for my girlfriend in Stuttgart a few days before. (And I have to admit I just like to post pictures of him because he is always smiling)

The Big Update

So. I moved recently to Berlin. Well not really. It’s more like a 6 weeks here, 6 weeks there (Shanghai) move. I gave away half of my cloths, shoes, my toaster and a bench to be able to do that. My old sneaker-freaker friends think I’m crazy. I’m happy and women who are coming into my place don’t ask me anymore if I’m gay by any chance. (Looking a my massive shoe-collection)

Another bunch of my friends are now jealous. “Oh, Uh, Ah, you’re in Berlin now, so cool.” No offense Mr. Kennedy, I wouldn’t call myself a “Berliner” yet. For me it’s just another big city with a lot of  work ahead. But I miss my screaming chinese neighbors, the fact I can’t walk into an EDKA and ask if I can get the cheese cheaper and I’m always confused how to trow away trash. No clue what type of trash belongs in which trash-can. There are just so many now, impossible to keep tracking! But hey. Enough, I like being back. Home cooked food, friendly Vodaphone employees and great haircuts for less then 10 Euros. And Kebab smell everywhere I go. Besides that I still travel a lot while being here. I did a few shows in Munich, organized a Bananas in Stuttgart together with DJ Passion and this week I play Cookies in Berlin with Mr. “Hip Hop Don’t Stop” Jumpy.

Muenchen-Shuffle

I’m going to Munich. Already this weekend. I know it’s too late for the Oktober-fest but I’m still right on time for Yum Yum’s Birthday. I’d promised myself to have dinner first, before I start drinking with my local friends. But hey, I got booked again, so I guess things didn’t get that messy last time.
But before entering Bavaria I’m gonna stop over in Stuttgart. Actually for 2 dates. Bananas and Treff. Last time I was In Stuttgart (deejaying) I had to meet my girlfriend’s family the next day. Luckily they are not German. As we say “Andere Laender, andere Sitten.” (No clue how to translate that) I arrived and I guess I must have looked less handsome and more terrible. I got offered the choice between wine or beer. And it was 10am in the morning. I have to say, I love Middle Europe. F*ck those Americans telling you you get kidnapped and they steal all you organs. I got fed everyday, had to meet pretty girls and was allowed to keep all my intestines. Sure the Trance on every radio-channel is a little bit annoying but after a while you start liking it and do the Melbourne Shuffle overtime you take a ride.

I’m (still) in Dubai

… and that’s it. Girls look “average” Houses are a bit bigger and “Danger” is more like stand up comedy. I like!

I’m in دبي (Dubai), actually only for 7 hours. Hanging out in the lounge, eating Hummus, drinking coffee but flirting with the mini bar. Nothing wrong with a drink at 6.30am, right?!

Electro Grass

I played with Dan (as The Bananas) last weekend at the completely amazing JZ Festival on the Electro Grass Stage. After half an hour  of rocking on stage it turned dark and we could see all lights of the city pop on. What a view! Besides that there was a super crowd throwing Bananas at us. I take it as an compliment, thanx. Make sure to check out all pics here.
